View out Tunnel at Trotter Mine
Zinc has not been mined here for over 50 years. Now, it is an important location for collecting associated fluorescent specimens. By day, the mine is ordinary looking brownish rock, rich with black colored iron minerals, and softened by lots of sand composed largely of calcite.
