Mud Dauber Nests Truly a work of art that I cannot take credit for, these wasps combined the mud hues into a pleasing composition that even takes into account the 'rule of thirds' often cited by artists. However my friend Andor, the person who sawed out the rectangle of plywood, gets credit for the cropping and saving the piece in the first place. This image could be wall mounted, albeit raised a foot or so above eye level.
Like most of my phantograms, it is life-sized. Signed image is approx. 8 x 13 (the piece of plywood), printed on an oversized sheet of heavyweight matte paper, using archival dye-based inks.
